Can I personalize/customize my order by adding a text?

Yes, we offer you the possibility of adding a card in your name with a chosen text. We can also add one of your own card in the package if you send it to us.

What is the time delivery for an order?

Your order will be delivered within 24/48 hours (working days) for mainland Spain and 48/72 hours for Balearic to the address you gave us.

Can I buy or send goods outside Spain?

Yes, inside the E.U.

What is the price of these deliveries?

Depends on the country of destination, approximately 7-10 working days, after having received the shipping confirmation e-mail.

What are the characteristics of the ham from Jabugo?

The ham from Jabugo corresponds to every ham produced in the locality of Jabugo (Huelva) where unique and inimitable weather conditions (temperatures and humidity) make of Jabugo the best location of good ham.

What are the little white points which appear sometimes in the ham?

They are just crystals of tiroxina, an amino-acid produced by the degradation of proteins. Contrary to what we may think, it is a sign of a slow maturation.

What percentage of bone is there in a ham?

Approximately 30% of the Ham's weight corresponds to its bones and about 40% for Shoulders. These bones are very appreciated for cooking a rich broth and giving taste.

What is the difference between ham and shoulder?

Hams are the rear leg of the pig and Shoulders the front leg. This is what will determine the difference of weight, size and time of maturation.

How to conserve the ham?

Store the ham in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight if you will not consume it for a time. Preferably hanged and with no direct contact with other surfaces. If the ham has been delivered with a greaseproof paper or with a carrying case, take it off in order to allow its perspiration and oxygen of the layer of bacteria. You have to think that the piece of ham is still "alive", with a maturation up to its consumption.

Once the ham started and in order to prevent it from drying out, use a slice of external fat to cover the cut surface. If you consume it slowly, we recommend you to change it occasionally.

And the slices?

In this case, conserve it in the fridge and do not forget to remove it one hour before the consumption in order to recuperate the original temperature. One quick option is to pass the slices in its package under warm water in order to remove it easily. The ham will recuperate quickly all its aroma and natural flavour.

How will be organized the recuperation of the product?

Easily, you only need to pack the product in a box appropriated for the transport, with our address and with the written indication “portes pagados”. Once we have received the merchandise, our Quality Department will contact you in order to take note of your motivation to return the product and propose you to replace it with a new one.
